Cancellation conditions
We recommend that you take out good cancellation insurance at all times.
It may happen that the holiday has to be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. In this case, the booker or his/her deputy must notify us in writing. In most cases there are costs associated with a cancellation or change. * You can cancel your reservation by e-mail up to 2 months before the arrival date. After your cancellation you will receive a confirmation from us within 3 working days and your payment will be refunded minus 10% cancellation costs of the rent due (with a minimum of € 50,-) *In case of cancellation up to 3 weeks before the day of arrival, we charge 50 % of the rent. *In the event of a cancellation in the last 3 weeks before arrival or a no-show, you owe the entire rent.
Cancellation by Villa Guillaumette:
In the event of force majeure, both of a permanent and temporary nature, Villa Guillaumette is entitled to dissolve the agreement in whole or in part or to suspend it temporarily without the guest being able to claim fulfillment and/or compensation: *If due to force majeure the rented accommodation before the start of or during the rental period has become uninhabitable or difficult to live in, the lessor will refund a proportionate part of the rent paid. If desired, the landlord will also mediate in finding an alternative accommodation. However, the lessor is not liable for further damage, of whatever nature, that is caused by force majeure. This includes circumstances that may affect the quality of the stay in the B&B or holiday home, such as: fire, flood, abnormal rainfall, storm, odor nuisance, water supply and electricity failure, government, and other external influences. *Death of one of the owners or close relatives, etc., under which full or partial fulfillment of the agreement cannot be expected from Villa Guillaumette in reasonableness and fairness. This also applies in the event of business termination and/or sale of the real estate.
Change: When a guest wants to change an agreement, this can be done up to 30 days before arrival. The booking may not be cheaper than the original booking after modification. Change costs may be charged for these changes.
In lieu: If the reservation is transferred entirely to a third party, the booker must indicate this in writing to Villa Guillaumette. Change costs are charged for these changes. Amounts already paid will be deemed to have been paid by the acquiring party. The transferring and acquiring parties must arrange this between themselves.
